Advocate With Us

What advocacy work does Transplant Families do?

Our focus is on keeping pediatrics a priority and accessible for families.  Our volunteers are passionate about organ donation and advocate in the transplant community in many different ways. Many volunteer on the national level for the Organ Procurement Transplant Network (OTPN) and the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) to provide their unique perspectives about pediatric transplant. Other volunteers are representatives within organ-specific pediatric learning health networks, such as ACTION, PHTS, IROC, Starzl Network, and SPLIT.

Finally, our organization often makes statements supporting legislation related to pediatric transplant. We welcome your involvement!

Please email us at: hello@transplantfamilies.org if you wish to get involved in our advocacy efforts.  If you see advocacy opportunities that you would like us to pursue, please fill out our form to the right.
